In order to deliver a high standard of IT services to MPs, Peers and staff of both Houses, one of our key business objectives is to ensure, through improved people and career management processes we have a highly skilled, motivated and diverse workforce.
As individuals we need need to take responsibility for our own development by talking through our development needs with managers and evaluating the impact of learning and development activities and areas for improvement. In addition development should be captured to asses your progress and acheivements.
PICT is committed to building a learning culture i.e. valuing different methods of learning which include: on-the-job training, shadowing, coaching, mentoring and reading as well as traditional courses.
