In order to deliver a high standard of ICT services to MPs, Peers and staff of both Houses, one of our key business objectives is to ensure, through improved people and career management processes we have a highly skilled, motivated and diverse workforce.
PICT is committed to building a learning culture i.e. valuing different methods of learning which include: on-the-job training, shadowing, coaching, mentoring and reading as well as traditional courses.
Some of the formal training courses offered to PICT staff last year included SharePoint, PowerShell, Prince2, MS Project, SQL, ITIL, MSP, Vista, VMWare, and the Service Desk Analyst Qualification (SDI).
